Derby County’s Under-18s will get the 2017/18 Premier League – North campaign underway with an exciting home meeting against Steven Gerrard's Liverpool.
The Rams’ clash with the Reds acts as the season’s opening fixture when they go toe-to-toe at the Training Centre in partnership with the University of Derby on Friday 11th August, kick-off: 1pm.
A change in the Under-18s’ season will see them just face teams in the north section over the whole campaign – meaning Justin Walker’s and Rory Delap’s men have games against the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Everton and Newcastle United to look forward to over the course of the next 10 months.
Derby have also registered their interest in competing in the Under-18 and Under-16 Premier League Cup this season. Full details of that will be announced in due course.
