About the fixture…

For the first time, the Ewe Rams will play a league fixture at Pride Park Stadium in what will be a big step for the club that announced it would be increasing support of Derby County Ladies for the 2018/19 campaign and beyond.

Derby and Forest have both tasted a win and a draw this season, with the Ewe Rams opening their campaign with an impressive 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough before recording a 2-2 draw against Hull City.

Meet and Greet with Sandy Ryan

Ahead of the exciting clash, Rams fans will have the opportunity to meet Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Sandy Ryan.

The champion boxer and Derby supporter will be at the front of the East Stand from 1:15 until 1:45pm to take photos and sign autographs.

The Ramtiques Roadshow

The Ramtiques Roadshow will also be at the stadium on Sunday, showcasing some of the club’s historic items including old photographs, pennants, trophies and documents charting the events of previous years.

DCCT Girls RTC and Recovery Rams Display

Between 1.15pm and 1.45pm members of DCCT’s Regional Talent Centre and Recovery Rams will showcase a display of short football sessions and small sided games.

What has been said…

“This is something that we have dreamed of,” Derby County Ladies’ Chief Executive Officer, Duncan Gibb, told dcfc.co.uk.

“All along it is something we have aspired to as a club, to migrate the team to play a game at Pride Park Stadium and to do that against Forest, and also our first home game of the season, is absolutely fantastic.”

“I think it is massive for the club,” Ewe Rams captain, Hannah Ward, said. “We have been getting good crowds to our games but the opportunity to play at Pride Park will hopefully get some more who will then come to our home games at Mickleover.”
