Richard Keogh has been named in Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland squad for their UEFA Nations League opener against Wales on 6th September.

The 32-year-old last featured for his country in June 2017 against Mexico and along with the Nations League opener, he will also be in contention to face Poland in a friendly five days after the trip to Cardiff.

The Derby centre-back will be aiming to build on his 18 caps for Ireland.

Keogh has started every game for Frank Lampard's side so far this season, and he opened his goalscoring account in the 2-0 victory against Preston North End in August.
