Derby County boss Phillip Cocu has made two changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Nottingham Forest at Pride Park Stadium (12:30pm kick-off).

Striker Chris Martin and left-back Craig Forsyth come into the side at the expense of Martyn Waghorn and Max Lowe, who have both reverted to the substitutes’ bench.

Derby go into the game one point and one place adrift of the play-off places following an impressive run of five successive league wins.

Cocu’s starting XI includes four players from the club’s Academy system while a further three occupy places on the bench.

Young midfielder Jordan Brown is one of those on the bench as he makes his first-ever appearance in the matchday squad.

Skipper Wayne Rooney was the matchwinner in Wednesday’s 1-0 victory at Preston North End and England and Manchester United’s all-time leading goalscorer will experience the local derby in Rams colours for the first time.

The East Midlands derby will be played in the unique setting of an empty Pride Park Stadium, with all matches currently being played behind-closed-doors as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
