The line-up for the 2021/22 Sky Bet Championship season has been confirmed following the conclusion of the League One Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Derby County now know the 23 sides they will be facing over the course of the upcoming campaign.

Heading down from the Premier League and into the second tier for next season are Sheffield United, West Bromwich Albion and Fulham.

West Brom and Fulham are both returning to the Championship after one-season stays in the Premier League, while Sheffield United return to the division after two years in the top-flight.

The trio replace promoted sides Norwich City, Watford and Saturday’s Play-Off Final winners Brentford.

Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe Wanderers were relegated to League One at the end of the 2020/21 season and will be replaced by Hull City, Peterborough United and Blackpool.

Hull have made an immediate return to the Championship after being relegated at the end of the 2019/20 season, as League One champions, while Peterborough are back in the division for the first time since the 2012/13 campaign.

Blackpool, meanwhile, defeated Lincoln City 2-1 in Sunday’s League One Play-Off Final to bounce back to the Championship for the first time since the 2014/15 season.
