Derby County’s players arrived at their training base in the south of England on Monday evening as they continue their preparations for the upcoming 2021/22 Sky Bet Championship season.

The Rams’ squad will be based in the South East of the country for the remainder of this week as they take in a change of scenery away from Moor Farm Training Ground in the build-up to the new campaign.

Derby’s training base in Surrey offers all the facilities required for Wayne Rooney’s players to focus on their workload on the pitch, as well as spending time together off it too as a group.

The squad took in a training session at Moor Farm on Monday afternoon before hitting the road for the journey south later in the day.

They will return home at the end of the week and will round off their second full week of pre-season by facing last season’s Premier League runners-up and Europa League finalists Manchester United at Pride Park Stadium on Sunday afternoon (1pm kick-off).

RamsTV will provide exclusive footage, access and interviews from Derby’s week away from Moor Farm across the club’s digital channels.
