Several members of Derby County’s Under-21s squad have agreed short-term loan deals at non-league clubs to gain important match experience.

With no competitive game on the fixture list for Pat Lyons’ side for three weeks in Premier League 2 - Division 2, a number of players will continue their education by playing senior football out on loan for a short period of time.

Goalkeeper Alfie Roberts and defender Rhys Brailsford have linked up with Barwell FC, while the versatile Cian Kelly-Caprani, who can play in defence or midfield, has signed for Belper Town.

In addition, forwards George Nunn and Bartosz Cybulski have joined Mickleover FC and Matlock Town respectively.

The five players have joined goalkeeper Harrison Foulkes and defenders Will Grewal-Pollard and Demico Burton out on loan after they linked up with Kettering Town, Belper Town and Stourbridge last week.
