Derby County Football Club and Derby County Community Trust will be renewing their support for the Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance in the run up to Christmas.

Supporters are encouraged to bring donations to one of three donation points at Pride Park Stadium on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd December between 11am-2pm, or before the Sky Bet League One fixture with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 3rd December from 11am ahead of the 12:30pm kick-off.

Donations will be accepted at the newly opened Harrison’s Hub, in the North West Corner of the stadium.

Supporters who bring in a full food parcel will qualify for two complimentary tickets for the following home fixture, when the Rams take on Forest Green Rovers on Saturday 17th December (3pm kick-off).

These can also be donated to the Rams Family Fund to help support families to attend games.

A full list of items to collect can be found here.

Please Note: Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

Paul Brookhouse, Project Manager at Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance, said: “As a country there is no clear strategy to support people and we are not prepared for this winter and what it will bring. We are part of a rising cost of living strategy group to help the city response.

“It is a tough season, and our main target at this point is to help people survive the winter. Our aim is to extend food support, provide community meals to keep people fed, stop them being isolated, supporting their mental health and keeping people warm, provide debt support and hopefully set up a crisis fund.”

Derby County Community Trust are supporting the Food 4 Thought Alliance to achieve the above aims, through fundraising to provide community meals from the new Community Corner each week throughout January, February and March.

Fans will be able to support the efforts through purchasing a space on the 1884 Wall when they go on sale on 1st December.

The food donation hub re-opened at Pride Park Stadium from on Thursdays from 17th November between 11am-2pm, but complimentary tickets will only be available on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd December drop off days, subject to availability.
