February provided a rollercoaster of emotions for Derby County.

There was a mixture of results across the board – some good and some not so good, but once it was all said and done – the most important thing was that the team still entered March well in the mix for a Sky Bet League One top six place come May.

Five fixtures will take place over the course of March with three of those coming against sides in and around the top six.

Here’s a look at what’s to come for the First Team, Under-21s, Under-18s and Ewe Rams over the course of March.

04/03 – Derby County Vs Shrewsbury Town (3pm kick-off)

The month kicks off with a return to Pride Park Stadium for the visit of play-off chasing Shrewsbury Town, who the Rams drew 0-0 against in the reverse fixture back in August.

Steve Cotterill's side are one of the in-form teams in the division going into the contest and will prove a tricky opponent to open up March against.

07/03 – Plymouth Argyle Vs Derby County (8pm kick-off)

Games don't come much bigger than the opening away trip of the month and what a trip it is.

A Tuesday evening clash with automatic promotion hopefuls Plymouth Argyle at Home Park will hand the Rams a real opportunity to lay down a marker for the remainder of the season in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

11/03 – Oxford United Vs Derby County (3pm kick-off)

It's back on the road a few days after the long journey to Plymouth as the Rams make the trip to Oxford United, the side Derby defeated 1-0 on home turf on the opening day of the season to begin a new era in the club's history.

The U's recently parted ways with boss Karl Robinson and will look to have a new man in the dugout for the visit of Paul Warne's side.

18/03 – Derby County Vs Fleetwood Town (3pm kick-off)

The second and only home game of the month sees Fleetwood Town visit Pride Park Stadium.

The Fishermen sit comfortably in mid-table and have already proven that they can frustrate the Rams following the 0-0 draw way back in August on home turf.

25/03 – Peterborough United Vs Derby County (3pm kick-off)

The month finishes up with a trip to the Posh who themselves are vying for a spot in the Sky Bet League One play-offs.

Derby edged past Peterborough with a 2-1 victory back in August, thanks to late goals from Jason Knight and David McGoldrick, and will be hoping for a similar outcome come the end of March.
