Derby County defender Haydon Roberts has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Goal of the Month Award for March.

The 20-year-old's sweetly hit strike in the 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury Town on 4th March at Pride Park Stadium is the goal that has earned a well-deserved nomination.

Roberts already bagged himself the Derby fans' Goal of the Month for his effort on social media but will be looking to add Sky Bet League One's official award to his collection, like Rams midfielder Max Bird did in January for his stunning long-range effort in the 3-2 win at Cheltenham Town.

He'll be up against Ryan Hardie of Plymouth Argyle, Alfie May of Cheltenham Town and Charlton Athletic's Steven Sessegnon.

Supporters can have their say on who takes the crown over at EFL.com and they have before 5pm on Monday 10th April to do so.

The supporters' votes will be combined with the choices from a panel to determine the winners.

The judging panel comprises Sky Sports’ EFL experts Don Goodman & David Prutton.
