Derby County striker David McGoldrick cleaned up at Derby County's End of Season Awards on Tuesday evening by landing three trophies.

The 35-year-old picked up the Jack Stamps Player of the Season, Leading Goalscorer Award and Players' Player of the Season awards, after also winning the Supporters' Club and Punjabi Rams Player of the Season trophies last week.

It was a fitting end reward for McGoldrick who was delighted with his achievements after netting 25 goals in Derby's play-off push under Paul Warne.

McGoldrick spoke to RamsTV after picking up his third award of the night to discuss his and the team's season as they look to secure a top six spot in Sky Bet League One when they head to Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday (12pm kick-off).

On his Player of the Season award...

It's an honour, especially with the award of Players' Player of the Season; that's the one that means a lot to all footballers because they are the ones you play with and they see the hard work you put in. It's a real honour.

On whether he feels pressure...

I thrive on it to be fair. When you see your colleagues talking about you in good stead, it's great to hear and to hear some of the young boys love playing with me - that's really good to hear as a senior player.

On his relationship with the supporters...

They have taken to me brilliantly. I had a slow start to the season with injuries and they might have been thinking I was done for, but I grinded and worked and ever since I scored that hat-trick at home against Bristol Rovers in October they seemed to really take to me. I see the fans in the car park after games and when I'm out and it means a lot to get the support of your fan base.

On where this campaign ranks for him...

I think when I look back in five or ten years it will really sink in for me. I'll look back with the numbers I've hit with pride and obviously I'm buzzing for it to happen right now but I think it will really sink in when I stop playing and I'll look back on it.
