2022/23 Season

Prior to last year getting underway, the Fishermen appointed former Celtic captain Scott Brown as their manager.

After only just surviving relegation the season prior, expectations were low for the campaign ahead but Brown’s team were able to comfortably defy those.

They finished the season with 57 points to their name which saw them cement a 13th place finish in Brown’s first year in management.

Fleetwood also had a successful run in the Emirates FA Cup, reaching the Fifth Round where they were edged out 1-0 by Championship runaway leaders Burnley.

Record Against The Rams

Last season marked the first time the Rams had faced off with the Fishermen in competitive action and it was Fleetwood that were able to take the bragging rights.

The two faced off at the beginning of the season and played out a 0-0 draw at Highbury Stadium.

Fleetwood then put in an impressive performance to land a 2-0 victory at Pride Park Stadium in March.
