Derby County face rivals Nottingham Forest in the Second Round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday 27th August (7.45pm kick off).
The Rams will travel to the City Ground to take on fellow Sky Bet Championship opposition in a bid to reach the Third Round of the competition.
The Rams secured their passage through to this stage of the competition courtesy of a 0-1 win over Scunthorpe United at Glanford Park on Tuesday night.
Lee Buchanan netted the only goal on his professional debut to ensure the Rams set up the Second Round tie against Sabri Lamouchi’s side.
Forest booked their place in the Second Round courtesy of a 1-0 win over Sky Bet One side Fleetwood Town courtesy of Tiago Silva's second half strike.
