Derby County winger Festy Ebosele has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for their upcoming international fixtures in November.

Ebosele has been a regular part of Wayne Rooney’s first team squad this season and has been rewarded with a call up to represent their country in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.

Jim Crawford’s side, who currently sit fourth in their qualifying group, are on home soil twice in November as they face Italy at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin on Friday 12th November (5:30pm kick-off), whilst four days later, they face Sweden on Tuesday 16th November (5:30pm kick-off).

The Rams’ Academy graduate made his first league start this season against Peterborough United in August, whilst he has gone on to make nine appearances so far this season in all competitions.
