Derby County duo Conor Hourihane and Jason Knight have been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad ahead of international round of fixtures in September.

The two have started every League One fixture so far this season for the Rams, both finding the net once across the first eight games.

Hourihane has been a mainstay in the international set-up since 2017, making 35 appearances and scoring one goal in that time.

Knight on the other hand was given his debut in 2020 at just 19-years-old and has since cemented himself as a regular among the Boys in Green.

The two will report to camp in Dublin on 18th September and be available for selection for both of Ireland’s UEFA Nations League fixtures against Scotland and Armenia respectively.

They will face Scotland at Hampden Park on 24th September, before hosting Armenia at the Aviva Stadium on 27th September.
