Derby County Under-21s midfielder Ola Ibrahim has become the latest player to head out on loan.


Ibrahim, who stepped up to Pat Lyons’ squad in the summer after two years with the Under-18s as a scholar, has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Hednesford Town for a period of 28 days.

With Derby’s Under-21s without a competitive game in Premier League 2 - Division 2 between 10th-31st October, the decision was made last week to allow several the Rams’ young guns head out on loan to non-league clubs.

Goalkeepers Alfie Roberts and Harrison Foulkes linked up with Barwell FC and Kettering Town respectively.

Defender Rhys Brailsford has also headed to Barwell FC, while the versatile Cian Kelly-Caprani, who can play in defence or midfield, and Will Grewal-Pollard have signed for Belper Town. Another defender, in the form of Demico Burton, has teamed up with his former club Stourbridge.

In addition, forwards George Nunn and Bartosz Cybulski joined Mickleover FC and Matlock Town respectively.
