Derby County’s Under-21s forced a last-minute equaliser to pick up another point in their Premier League Cup campaign on Friday night as they claimed a 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion at Loughborough University Stadium.

Billie Clark came off the bench to convert from Cam Peupion’s pull-back in the 84th minute for the visitors to put them on course for all three points.

However, left-back Cian Kelly-Caprani’s corner somehow found its way into the back of the net with the last kick of the game to ensure the Rams took a point from the contest.

Pat Lyons’ side have two points to their name from three outings in Premier League Cup - Group B, following a 2-1 loss at AFC Bournemouth and a 1-1 draw at home to Queens Park Rangers earlier in the season.

Next up for the Under-21s is a trip south to face Queen Park Rangers on Monday 28th November (7pm kick-off) in their next Premier League Cup outing.
