Derby County striker David McGoldrick was presented with the Punjabi Rams Player of the Year award for the 2022/23 season at the weekend.
McGoldrick was handed the accolade by representatives from the Punjabi Rams prior to the home fixture against Burton Albon at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday.
The experienced frontman then went on to score the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the second half to record his 25th goal of the campaign and push Paul Warne’s side back into the Sky Bet League One play-off places with two matches left to play.
