Forward Tony Weston joined Derby County’s Under-21s squad ahead of the start of the 2023/24 season.
Weston began his career in the youth ranks of Blackpool before moving north to Scotland to join Rangers in 2020.
His form with the Seasiders, which resulted in him coming off the bench for their first team an FA Cup tie against Maidstone in 2019, saw him seal the move to the Scottish giants.
Weston made his senior bow for the Ibrox club in 2022, coming off the bench in a 3-1 win at Hearts, as well as featuring for their B Team in various competitions.
He had loan spells in the Scottish Championship at Partick Thistle and Cove Rangers in the 2022/23 season and he racked up 31 appearances over those stints.
His first senior goal came in a Scottish Cup win over Kelty Hearts in November 2022 whilst with Partick.
